COACH'S QUOTE
"Credit to Binghamton, they made some great plays when they needed to," head coach Sarah Dalton Graddock said. "We certainly had our opportunities, but unfortunately we didn't play well enough throughout the 60 minutes to deserve that win. We are fortunate to see the same team again next Thursday and it's my job to make sure the team is prepared."

The Bearcats responded with two goals in the middle part of the second frame to tie the game at 4-4. • Vermont quickly tied the game coming out of the half with Vasile's hat trick marker at 1:50 of the third quarter. Taylor Mullen put the Catamounts in front with a free-position tally as UVM led 7-6 with 10:45 left in the frame. Binghamton answered with two goals in the final 4:31 of the quarter to take an 8-7 lead with one frame to play.
  • Carolyn Carrera sparked a three-goal rally for the Catamounts in the fourth quarter, netting her first collegiate goal to tie the game at 8-8 with 8:27 remaining.
