MEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont (20-4, 12-0 AE) continues its road trip with a stop at Hartford (6-16, 4-6 AE) on Monday night (Feb. 14) at Chase Arena. The Catamounts can clinch at least a share of the America East Regular Season Title with a victory over the Hawks. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
 
TELEVISION & BROADCAST INFORMATION
Monday's game between UVM and Hartford will broadcast live on ESPN 3. Fans can listen for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield IMG College on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Hartford enters Monday night's matchup following a 65-49 victory at NJIT on Saturday (Feb. 12). The Hawks' road victory snapped a four-game skid in league play. Hartford ranks No. 9 in America East standings, but has only played 10 league games due to early postponements. The Hawks are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the league, averaging 36.1% on the season and 40.2% in conference play. Austin Williams is Hartford's leading scorer with a 15.9 scoring average. Williams ranks second in the league in scoring.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont is 53-25 in the all-time series against Hartford, including 22-13 on the road. The Catamounts have won four of the last five meetings and eight of the last 10. UVM took an 82-72 victory on Jan. 22 at Patrick Gym. Ben Shungu (24 points) and Ryan Davis (21 points) led the Catamounts who held off a late rally by the Hawks.

A win on Monday night would be Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker's 250th victory as bench boss of the Catamounts. Becker currently ranks No. 3 on Vermont's all-time wins list behind Tom Brennan (264) and John "Fuzzy" Evans (260).

Reigning America East Player of the Year, Ryan Davis, needs only two points to register 1,000 career points. The senior would become the 41st Catamount in program history to reach the milestone and ninth under John Becker.

The 2021-22 Catamounts became the first team in program history to reach 20-4 through the season's first 24 games with its 76-63 victory at UAlbany.
 
CATS ARE STREAKING
The Catamounts are currently tied for the longest active winning streak in the country after earning their 14th-straight victory on Saturday night at UAlbany. Vermont's streak is tied with No. 2 Gonzaga, South Dakota State, and Murray State.
