FRIDAY CATAMOUNTS RALLY AGAINST CANCER
On Friday, the Vermont men's and women's hockey teams will be wearing special edition Rally Against Cancer jerseys. The jerseys are accented with lavender to represent the ongoing fight against all cancers. At puck drop of each contest the game-worn jerseys will be available via auction at uvmathletics.com/auctions. Bidding begins at $125 and proceeds benefit the University of Vermont Cancer Center

POULIN-LABELLE AND SCHAFZAHL LEAD CATAMOUNTS OFFENSIVE ATTACK
Seniors Maude Poulin-Labelle and Theresa Schafzahl are tied for the team lead in scoring with 32 points this season. Poulin-Labelle has 12 goals and 20 assists while Schafzahl has 17 goals and 15 assists. With 32 points this season Poulin-Labelle has reset her own program record (29 pts, 2019-20) for points by a defenseman in a single-season.

Both players are within striking distance of further program records. The program record for goals in a single season is 21, set by Amanda Pelkey '15 during the 13-14 campaign and the record for assists in a single season is 23, set by Brittany Zuback '15 during that same season. Pelkey also holds the program record with 40 points in a single season from that landmark year.

Schafzahl is tied with Northeastern's Maureen Murphy in conference scoring with 28 points. No Catamount player has ever finished first in Hockey East scoring. Poulin-Labelle is third in the league with 27 points.

RECORD BREAKING SEASON
This seasons' special team has literally rewritten the UVM record book. The Catamounts 19 wins and 16 conference wins are both program records. In addition, Vermont was ranked for the first time in program history last week. UVM was tied for 10th in the DCU/USCHO poll. Despite sweeping Maine last weekend UVM dropped out of the poll.

McPHERSON FUELING THE CATAMOUNTS RUN
Sophomore goaltender Jessie McPherson has been outstanding in net for the Catamounts. Dating back to December 10 she has won nine straight games and over that stretch she has made 212 saves on 221 shots, a .959 save percentage. She has only given up more than one goal in a game once over the current nine-game stretch.

PK PROWESS
The Catamounts own the nation's second ranked penalty kill this season, boasting an 93.3% success rate. Vermont has only allowed five goals while shorthanded this season, and has scored three times while on the penalty kill with Natálie Mlýnková scoring two of them. The 2018-19 Catamounts finished the season with the nation's top penalty kill at 87.4%. Vermont is one of just three teams in the country to have allowed five or less goals shorthanded this season.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
BU is currently in sixth place in Hockey East with 32 points in 20 games. In their last 10 games the Terries have won just once in regulation a 4-3 decision at Holy Cross on January 28. On Tuesday afternoon BU fell 3-0 at No. 5 Northeastern in the Beanpot consolation game.

Senior forward Courtney Correia leads the Terriers in scoring this season with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points. BU's Emma Wuthrich scored the Terriers only goal in the teams' October 29 meeting at Walter Brown Arena. Wuthrich is tied for third on the team in scoring with five goals.

Callie Shanahan and Kate Stuart have seen the most action between the pipes for the Terriers. Both have five wins on the season. Stuart made 23 saves in BU's 1-1 regulation tie against the Catamounts. She also stopped all three Catamount shooters in the shootout as well.

SERIES HISTORY
BU is 36-9-8 against the Catamounts all-time. The Terries have won five of the last seven meetings in the series. The Catamounts last win was a 4-0 decision last season on February 12, 2021. Tynka Pátková and Maddy Skelton recorded their first-career multi-point games for Vermont in the win. Hailey Burns also had two points in the contest.

FOUR CATAMOUNTS SET TO COMPETE IN OLYMPIC QUARTERFINALS
Sammy Kolowrat '19, Natálie Mlynková, Tynka Pátková and Sini Karjalainen have advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's hockey tournament at the 2022 Olympics. The Czechs will face the United States at 11:10 p.m. Thursday night and the Finns will take on Japan at 3:40 a.m. Saturday. Both games are available in their entirety on Peacock in the United States.

On Tuesday morning Mlynková became the first Catamount in program history to score an Olympic goal tallying in the Czechs contest with Japan.
