BEEN HERE BEFORE
The Catamounts host an America East Semifinal at Virtue Field for the second consecutive season. Vermont defeated NJIT 3-2 in 2021 to advance to the championship for the 10th time in program history. UVM is looking to advance to its third straight title game.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
UAlbany defeated sixth-seeded NJIT 2-0 in the America East Quarterfinals on Nov. 5. Mohamed Soumah scored the clinching goal in the 74th-minute for the Great Danes. Saad Faiz has paced the UAlbany offense this season with seven points (3 goals, 1 assist). The Great Danes had three All-League awardees with defender Sam Philip on the All-Conference Second Team and Max Wilhelm and Caleb Vallance on the All-Rookie Team. Goalkeeper Shafique Wilson has a 0.85 goals against average and .817 save percentage in 13 starts this season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and UAlbany meet for the second time in November, and the second-consecutive game for the Catamounts. The conference foes played to a scoreless draw in the regular season finale on Nov. 1. Vermont is 2-0-1 in its last three meetings with UAlbany.

KEEPER OF THE YEAR
Nate Silveira became the first Catamount in program history to earn back-to-back America East Goalkeeper of the Year Awards. The league announced its major awards on Tuesday afternoon. The UVM goalkeeper led America East in goals against average (.516) and save percentage (.826) during the regular season. Silveira currently ranks fourth nationally in goals against average and sixth in shutouts (8).

Ten Catamounts received All-League honors, including four on the All-Conference First Team.

Nate Silveira made up the quartet that matched a program record.

Adrian Schulze Solano received All-Conference Second Team honors, and Noe Coutiño was named to the All-Rookie Team. Egan and
Daniel Pacella were named to the league's All-Academic Team.
