UAlbany bring a three-game unbeaten streak into Tuesday night's tilt. The Great Danes are 1-0-2 in that stretch with its win coming over NJIT (W, 1-0) on Oct. 22. UAlbany and UMass Lowell played to a scoreless draw in their most recent outing on Oct. 28. Saad Faiza leads the attack for the Great Danes with seven points (3 goals, 1 assist). Andrew Weiner also has a team-high three goals on the season. Shafique Wilson has started the majority of the games in goal for UAlbany with a 1.00 goals against average and .792 save percentage.

Vermont and UAlbany square off for the 28th time in series history. The Catamounts have taken the last two meetings with the Great Danes, including a 2-0 victory at Virtue Field last season. Vermont also earned a 2-0 win in its 2020-21 trip to Albany, N.Y. with

The Catamounts remain in the national rankings after their victory over No. 21 New Hampshire on Friday night. Vermont is 20th in the United Soccer Coaches' poll, which will be updated on Tuesday afternoon. Top Drawer Soccer ranked the Cats as the No. 11 team in the nation on Monday (Oct. 31).
