POSTER DAY
Saturday is Poster Day, presented by Key Motors of South Burlington. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a Vermont men's basketball poster produced by UVM Print & Mail.

SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
Maine enters Saturday's game having earned its first win of conference play last week against New Hampshire. The Black Bears defeated the Wildcats 71-64 up in Orono on Jan. 24, but suffered a 73-61 loss at UNH two days later. Maine is led by Vukasin Masic who averages 9.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Stephan Ingo is the Black Bears' leading rebounder with 6.3 boards per game. Ingo averages 6.7 points per game, but put up 10.6 points per game last year for Maine.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont owns a 78-70 all-time record against Maine and has rattled off 22 straight wins against the Black Bears. Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker is 26-1 against Maine since taking over as bench boss in 2011-12. The Catamounts have averaged a +20.6 margin of victory against the Black Bears in the last 22 games. Going further back in series history, Vermont secured its second America East Title in 2004, defeating Maine 72-53 at Patrick Gym.

6-0 IN AE PLAY
The Catamounts are 6-0 in America East play for the first time since the 2018-19 campaign and the seventh time in program history. Vermont has begun league play with six-straight wins four times under John Becker's guidance.

80+ IN SIX-STRAIGHT WINS
UVM extended its streak of scoring 80-plus points in a victory to six games with its 80-67 victory over Stony Brook on Wednesday (Jan. 26). The six-game streak is the longest in program history – the previous record was four games, last achieved by the 1999-00 team.

BECKETT'S CAREER-HIGH OFF THE BENCH
Vermont junior Eric Beckett came off the bench and produced a career-high 13 points for the Catamounts in Wednesday's win at Stony Brook. Beckett hit 5-of-7 field goal attempts and sank 3-of-4 threes, including a triple at the end of the first half to give UVM a 34-31 lead at the break.
