SCOUTING THE ORANGE
Syracuse enters Tuesday night's tilt after suffering losses in two of its three previous games. The Orange dropped Saturday's home matchup against conference foe Duke who took a 1-0 victory at SU Soccer Stadium. Syracuse has matched up against one other America East school this year, earning a 7-0 victory at home against Binghamton. The Orange are led by Deandre Kerr (16 points) who's points-per-game total (2.29) ranks seventh in the country and leads the ACC. The sophomore also leads the ACC in goals (7) and shots on goal per game (2.43).

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Catamounts and Orange meet for only the fifth time in series history and the first time since 1994. Vermont has a 1-2-1 record all-time against Syracuse. The Catamounts make only their second trip to Syracuse, New York – the Orange beat UVM 3-0 at home in 1991. Vermont was victorious in the last meeting with Syracuse. The '94 Catamounts beat the Orange 2-0 at the Nation's Credit Tourney in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Vermont first-year
Adrian Schulze Solano was named America East Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal on Tuesday (Sep. 21) against Siena. The rookie defender scored in the 45th minute to help the Catamounts convert on a corner kick in the final second of the first half. Schulze Solano is the first Catamount to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season.

The Catamounts have been on the road for two of their first eight games this season. Vermont carries a 4-2-0 record away from Virtue Field. The Catamounts have outscored opponents 9-4 on the road this season with
