SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell enters Saturday's game fifth in the America East standings - one spot behind the Catamounts. The River Hawks average 11.38 goals per game, which ranks fourth in the conference. Izzy Liquori paces the UMass Lowell offense with 19 goals in seven games played this season. The sophomore is ranked sixth in the conference in total goals scored and fifth in goals per game. Liquori is not afraid to shoot the ball, posting a league-leading 8.71 shots per game. Mackenzie Brown has played eight games this season as the River Hawks' goalkeeper. The rookie has accrued a 13.07 goals against average and .364 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts own a 3-2 all-time record against UMass Lowell, dating back to their first meeting in 2015. Vermont's most recent victory over the River Hawks came in 2018.
Jenna Janes and
Elise Koehl paced the Catamounts with five goals each en route to a 16-11 victory on Senior Day. UML took the last meeting with Vermont, winning a 19-18 thriller in Lowell. Mackenzie Bolt led the UVM attack with four goals.

UVM and UMass Lowell will meet once again this year, with the regular season finale coming in three weeks on May 1 at Virtue Field. The Catamounts will host the River Hawks for Senior Day, which is slated for a 5 p.m. start. The conference matchup will mark the first time in series history that the two foes square off twice in a single season.

SAVE, SAVE, SAVE
Sophie McLaughlin averages 11.67 saves per game, which leads America East and is fourth in the country. The UVM goalkeeper trails only Marist's Delaney Galvin (14.00), Youngstown State's Elicia Wells (12.40) and Quinnipiac's Kat Henselder (11.88). McLaughlin's season-high of 16 saves against UNH is the highest total in America East play.

WOMAN-DOWN GOALS
Vermont has registered a league-leading two woman-down goals this season.
McKenzie Ballard registered the first woman-down goal for the Catamounts in a win over New Hampshire on March 13. Last Saturday,
Dani Paterno converted a woman-down marker against sixth-ranked Stony Brook.
