The Catamounts (3-0-1) are back in action Friday afternoon as they travel to face UAlbany (2-4-1, 1-3-0) in their final regular season road game of the season. The action from Bob Ford Field will begin at 2 p.m. and live streaming will be available on AmericaEast.TV.

SILVEIRA LEADING THE WAY FOR CATAMOUNTS
Senior goalkeeper
Nate Silveira has led the Catamounts strong start this season. He is now 5-0-1 in his career as a starter for UVM. He leads America East with a .310 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage. His save percentage is the seventh best mark in the NCAA this season. He is also tied for second in America East with two clean sheets this year.
NAGY STUFFING THE SCORESHEET
Junior midfielder
Alex Nagy is tied for the conference lead with three assists this season. He is averaging .750 assists-per game which is .25 better than anyone else in the league. He is tied for ninth in the NCAA with his assist rate.
SCOUTING UALBANY
The Great Danes are 2-4-1 this season but enter Friday's contest on a two-game winning streak. Over the last two Fridays they've defeated Saint Rose (4-0) and Binghamton (2-1) at home.
First year Adam Aoumaich leads the team in scoring with three goals this season. Aoumaich scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute for the Great Danes against Binghamton. Austin DaSilva and Haflidi Sigurdarson each have two tallies this season for the Great Danes. DaSilva is 10th in America East averaging 2.14 shots-per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Catamounts will try to inch closer in the all-time series as the Great Danes hold a 13-10-2 edge. UVM will look to snap a five-year drought against UAlbany Friday, the Great Danes have beaten UVM seven games in a row. Since 2011, the two rivals have also met in the America East Tournament five times. UVM's last win in the series came in the 2014 America East Quarterfinals, it was a 2-1 UVM at UAlbany.
ROOKIE COACHES TO NOW
From the five Division I head coaches who made coaching debuts in 2017,
Rob Dow has the second-most wins and second-highest winning percentage among the group. Dow has reached the win column 35 times with the Catamounts. Current Pacific head coach Adam Reeves leads the list with 41 victories.
UNIQUE SCHEDULE FORMAT
Under the new conference-only schedule, the America East standings are broken up into three pods – A, B, and C. The Cats are in Pod A with New Hampshire and UMass Lowell as the teams will play each another twice. UNH is scheduled to visit Catamount Country in the regular season finale on Friday, April 9. UNH and Vermont are the only remaining undefeated teams in league play. The first-place finisher in Pod A will automatically qualify for the America East Semifinals. The top second place finisher from Pod A, B, and C will also qualify.
