Vermont (8-3-1, 3-1-0 AE) heads across the state line for an America East Title Game rematch against fourth-ranked New Hampshire (12-0-1, 4-0-0 AE) on Saturday (Oct. 16) at Wildcat Stadium. THE REMATCH
The Catamounts and Wildcats square off for the first time since the 2021 Spring America East Championship Game last April. Vermont suffered a 2-0 loss to top-seeded New Hampshire in the Catamounts' ninth-ever championship game appearance.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Saturday's game is the 66th all-time meeting between the Twin State rivals. Vermont and New Hampshire met three times a season ago, including the conference title game. The conference foes played to a scoreless draw in Durham to open the 2021 spring season. New Hampshire took the next two meetings. The Catamounts' last win over UNH came in 2016 when Brian Wright tallied three points to defeat the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 in Burlington.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
The defending America East champions enter Saturday's game after having its 12-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday. The Wildcats played to a 1-1 draw with Yale at Wildcat Stadium. The UNH attack is led by Tola Sowunmi who has seven goals in 13 games played. The Wildcats as a team rank eighth in the nation in goals with 31 on the season. Jassem Koleillat is the go-to goalkeeper for UNH. The junior's goals against average (.468) ranks fifth in the nation. On the back line is Bridger Hansen, who was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List along with Vermont's

Noah Egan.

SHOOTERS SHOOT
The Catamounts average 17.25 shots per game this season, which ranks fifth in the nation. Vermont ranks 10th in shots on goal per game, averaging 7.25 per game. Vermont tallied 36 shots in Wednesday night's 2-0 win over Hartford, which is the third-highest total by a team in Division I this season.
