The Vermont Catamounts (2-4, 2-1 AE) return to action for dual meets this weekend, beginning with a road meet at Siena at 1 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 11). Vermont then hosts Binghamton on Senior Day presented by the UVM Alumni Association at 10 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 12).

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
Siena enters Saturday's meet with the Catamounts after a month away from the water. The Saints are 2-4 on the season and hold a 2-1 MAAC record with wins over Niagara (Oct. 19) and Manhattan (Nov. 16). The Saints opened the season with a 210.5–86.5 loss at Binghamton (Oct. 19).

Siena finished sixth in the 2019 ECAC Winter Championships to close the first semester in East Meadow, New York. Freshman diver Lydia DeLano won the three-meter board at the Championships, becoming just the second Siena diver to ever do so.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Cats and Saints meet for the 14th time in the last 16 seasons Saturday in Burlington. UVM holds a 13-1 edge, suffering its only loss to Siena in 2004 by a four-point margin.

Vermont took a 140-78 win over Siena in last year's meeting at Forbush Natatorium.
Sophia Smith won the 1000 free with a time of 10:51.91.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton enters the weekend with a 3-3 overall record and 0-0 America East mark. The Bearcats host Empire State rival Marist this afternoon in Vestal, New York.

Binghamton joined Vermont at the 2019 Harold Anderson Invitational, hosted by the University of Rhode Island in November. The Bearcats finished one spot ahead of the Catamounts in second, posting a three-day total of 613.5 points.

Vermont and Binghamton saw its scheduled meet last year canceled due to facility issues at Binghamton.

The Cats opened the 2017-18 season with a 165-97 win over the Bearcats in a tri-meet at NJIT. Binghamton finished fifth at last year's America East Championship, posting a four-day point total of 449.

THE CLASS OF 2020
The three-member Class of 2020 competes in their final meet at Forbush Natatorium against Binghamton Sunday.
Morgan Montgomery,
Sierra Sexton, and
Sophia Smith will graduate in May as members of the Class of 2020.

The trio has helped Vermont finish third in the America East Championship in each of the last three seasons. Sexton currently holds one individual school record and is a part of two relay records.
