TAKING THE SHOW ON THE ROAD
Dating back to the middle of last season, the Green and Gold are 4-2-1 in their last seven regular season road games. In the four victories, the Cats have outscored their opponents 7-2.

SECOND OF THREE
The trip to Holy Cross is the second of three Patriot League opponents on the docket for the Catamounts. Vermont defeated Army 2-1 in overtime on Aug. 25 in the only road game of the season to date. Colgate will come to Catamount Country next Friday (Sept. 13) in the final non-conference home game for UVM.

MUTUAL OPPONENTS
The Catamounts and Crusaders have played one mutual opponent so far this season – Sacred Heart. UVM beat Sacred Heart 1-0 in the season opener on Aug. 23 after Natalie Durieux scored in the fifth minute. Holy Cross is coming off a 0-0 draw with the Pioneers on Aug. 29. Vermont and Holy Cross with play a total of four mutual opponents in 2018 – Army, Bryant, Colgate, and Sacred Heart.

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
Despite a 1-2-1 record through four games, the Crusaders are unbeaten in their last two matches after the draw against Sacred Heart and a 1-0 victory at Bryant on Thursday. Mariah Brown scored the decisive goal against the Bulldogs – the team's lone goal this season. Samantha Peters entered the scoring column with an assist on the play. Goalie Sophia Lettieri has played all 380 minutes between the pipes and has logged 15 saves with a pair of clean sheets. In this year's Patriot League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Crusaders landed at No. 8 with 48 points.

INSIDE THE SERIES
UVM has a commanding 5-1-2 edge against Holy Cross as the two foes will square off for the first time in eight years. The Crusaders took the first matchup back in 1988, but the Cats rebounded with five consecutive victories from 1989-93. The regional foes battled to 1-1 draws in 2001 and 2011.
