ONE FOR THE ROAD
The Catamounts will play their second-to-last road game of the season. UVM has played well on the road with a 6-1 record and has outscored the home team 97-60. In the seven-game set, a senior trio has tallied over 20 points. Alex Vignona leads the way with 31 points on 26 assists and five goals. Elise Koehl has notched 27 points on 23 goals and four assists. Jenna Janes rounds out the attack with 20 points on 15 goals and five assists.

SOME ASSIST-ANCE NEEDED
Vignona has handed out 33 assists this season – the third-highest single-season assist total in program history. The Stony Brook, New York native is eight assists shy of tying Samantha Stern for the most in one season. Stern set the school record with 41 assists back in 2012. Currently, Vignona holds a share of the league lead with UAlbany's Sam Tortora. The senior's 33 assists also rank in the top-10 nationally.

CATS IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Janes has climbed to No. 7 on the school's career goals list with 104 and stands at No. 8 in career points with 140. Goalie Maddy Kuras has picked up 139 career ground balls, the fourth-most ever, and has accrued the fifth-most wins (19).

AMERICA EAST LEADERS
Vermont has netted the third-most goals (142) and has the third-highest assists total (75) in the conference. Koehl is locked in at No. 3 and Janes follows at No. 9 on the list of the league's top goal scorers. In goal, Kuras owns the third-best goals-against average at 10.05 and has recorded the fifth-most ground balls (32). Grace Giancola also sits third in America East with 55 draw controls.

SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks have struggled of late and enter the weekend in the midst of a seven-game skid. In the America East preseason rankings, UML was picked to finish sixth behind UVM. The River Hawks sit in the middle of the conference pack with an even 200 points on 131 goals and 69 assists. Paige McEachern has been one of the top scorers in the league. The senior ranks third with 45 points and she is also tied with Koehl for third with 34 goals. Cameron McKelvin and Kristina Keith have added an additional offensive spark. McKelvin trails MacEachern with 37 points on 25 goals and 12 assists. Keith is close behind with 35 points on 28 goals and seven assists. Renee Gonzalez has stopped 127 shots this season, the fourth-most among America East goalies, and has registered a 13.00 goals-against average.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts and River Hawks will meet for the fifth time since UML transitioned to the Division I level in 2015. The Green and Gold hold a 3-1 edge and will try to avenge a loss in the Mill City from two years ago. Last year, UVM honored its graduating seniors on Senior Day with a 16-11 victory at Virtue in the regular season finale.
