Freshman forward
Rasmus Tobinski has dominated the offensive attack as of late. The Kiel, Germany native has scored six goals in the last six games and has recorded at least one point in each match with the exception of the season opener at Loyola Chicago. DOW AT THE TOP
Head coach
Rob Dow has racked up 26 victories in his three years at the helm – tied for the most among third-year Division I head coaches. Dow shares the top spot with Florida International's Kevin Nylen. Dow has guided the Cats to back-to-back double-digit wins total in the last two seasons while Nylen's group posted 12 wins in 2017 and seven victories last year.
CATS ON THE ROAD
The Cats have posted a 3-2 record on the road this season but each of the three victories have resulted in a clean sheet. In the conference opener last weekend, UVM held Stony Brook scoreless and the Cats have also kept Quinnipiac and DePaul off the scoreboard.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
The Big Green have not lost in Hanover and own a 4-0-1 mark at Burnham Field this season. Dartmouth has outscored its opponents 13-4 on its home turf. The Big Green have used a balanced attack this season as 18 of the 23 players who have played a game have logged at least one point. Dawson McCartney leads the team with 10 points on three goals and four assists. In last year's meeting, the junior midfield scored the equalizer in the 76th minute. Tiger Graham has netted a pair of goals, both have come in his last three outings. Netminder Alex Budnik has registered a 1.46 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage in 740 minutes of action.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts and Big Green will meet for the 43rd time as Vermont has beat its regional rival 13 times. UVM will look to snap a 10-game winless streak against Dartmouth and will try to beat the Big Green in Hanover for the first time since 1999. Last year, the Big Green edged the Cats 2-1 in overtime at Virtue Field.
