SCOUTING HARTFORD
After dropping their first two matches of the season, the Hawks have rattled off an 11-game unbeaten streak. Hartford has been one of early surprises in conference play after getting picked to finish last in the preseason rankings. Hartford has one of the top defenses in America East and have only allowed 10 goals this season, the second-fewest behind nationally-ranked New Hampshire (5). Goalie Jimmy Slayton leads the conference with 44 saves and has recorded the second-best goals-against average (0.72) in the league. On the offensive end, Nick Benjamin leads the team with seven points and three goals. The sophomore has netted two goals in his last three games. Kamer Nuhiu has matched Benjamin with three goals and Tomer Drimmer has tallied two goals and doled out two assists.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts have enjoyed a fair amount of success against the Hawks and lead the all-time series 19-12-8. Since the turn of the century, UVM has racked up an 11-6-4 mark against its conference foe.
ÁRNASON'S 2017 HEROICS IN HARTFORD

Geo Alves launched a free kick towards the net then Árnason leaped above the Hawks' defense and placed in the game-winner into the top left corner of the net.
