LAMB ADDS FOURTH WEEKLY AWARD
Anthony Lamb was named America East Co-Player of the Week on Monday. Lamb collected his fourth conference weekly award of the season and shared the honor with Hartford's J.R. Lynch. He averaged close to a double-double with 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game. He posted an impressive 65.0% (13-for-20) field goal percentage and guided the Green and Gold to a 2-0 week.

AMERICA EAST OPENER FACTS
UVM's 29-point win at UAlbany on Saturday was the largest margin of victory in a conference opener in school history since the 2004-05 Cats beat Binghamton by 30 points (W, 83-53). Vermont has reached the win column in seven consecutive America East openers and eight of the last nine overall. The 29-point margin is tied with North Florida for the seventh-largest in a league opener this season.

THE REINFORCEMENTS
Vermont's reserves scored 31 points in Saturday's victory, the most against a Division I opponent this season. In the last two games, the bench has averaged 29.5 points and have shot 51.2% (22-for-43) from the floor. The Catamounts are 8-1 this season when their bench outscores the opposition.

ROAD WARRIORS
UVM's 28 road victories since the start of 2016-17 are the most in Division I. Winthrop follows in second with 23 wins.

SCOUTING MAINE
The Black Bears finished in a seventh-place tie in this year's America East Preseason Coaches' Poll and are in the midst of a five-game skid. Maine has used defense to generate offense this season. The Black Bears rank second in the conference with 123 total steals and have the the fourth-best team field-goal percentage in America East at 43.7%. On the other side of the ball, the Black Bears have the fifth-best field-goal defense at 44.1%. Isaiah White paces the offense with 14.8 points per game. White has posted a 16.2 scoring average in the last five games with a pair of 20-point efforts. Andrew Fleming follows with 13.9 points per game. He is coming off his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 boards at defending league champion UMBC on Saturday.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts have used a 14-game winning streak, their longest active streak against a conference opponent, to even the all-time series at 70-70. Since the 2005-06 conference season, Vermont has dominated the series with a 26-3 mark. The league foes have met in the America East Tournament in each of the last three seasons.

RALLY AGAINST CANCER GAME
Save the date for our annual Rally Against Cancer game, presented by Inspired Closets, on Saturday, Jan. 19. Vermont will host Binghamton with a 7 p.m. opening tip. The Catamounts will be wearing special edition lavender jerseys this year - the color that represents the fight against all cancers. Jerseys will be auctioned off following the game and the proceeds will benefit the UVM Cancer Center.
