INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts trail Brown 4-11-3 in the all-time series but the Green and Gold have only endured one defeat since 1996. The two foes played to three straight draws in 2003, 2011, and 2012 before the Bears won 1-0 in 2012. Last year,
Ella Bankert scored her first-career goal which was an overtime game-winner in the 92nd minute and lifted UVM to a 2-1 victory at Virtue Field.
Vermont and Bryant will square off for only the third time on Sunday afternoon. The series is split with one win apiece by the home team – UVM reached the win column back in 2013 and the Bulldogs claimed a 4-1 victory last season.
