Jenna Janes and Elise Koehl had big days with five goals apiece. Early in the first half, Janes became the 17th member of UVM's 100-career point club. Elena McWright was masterful in setting up her teammates with five assists, finishing one dime shy of tying the program's single game record. McWright led the Catamounts offensively with six points and scored a goal to compliment her five assists. Alex Bernier followed with four points on two goals and two assists. The senior ended her career tied for second all-time with 60 career assists. Maddy Kuras reached the win column for the sixth time this season and made nine saves.

The River Hawks were guided by the scoring duo of Kendyl Finelli and Austin Trasatti. Finelli recorded five points on a pair of goals and three assists. Trasatti netted four goals and picked up two ground balls. Goalie and South Burlington native Courtney Barrett suffered the loss but stopped 13 shots on the day.

The Catamounts were forced to play catch-up for most of the first half. Trasatti found the back of the net less than a minute into the game but Janes scored the equalizer at the 28:27 mark. The River Hawks took a 2-1 lead after Cameron McKelvin tallied her only goal of the afternoon but once again Janes answered three minutes later.

UMass Lowell gained some breathing room with three out of the next four tallies and held a 6-3 advantage with 13 minutes left in the first period. UVM trimmed the deficit when Bailey Saneman and Bernier added two quick scores in a 58-second span. The River Hawks stretched their lead to 7-5 at the six-minute mark after Kaylan DiModugno converted a free position opportunity.

Vermont stormed back and evened the score at 7-7 as Janes completed the first-half hat trick and Bernier provided her second goal of the contest. Finelli helped UML retake the lead with two minutes to play but UVM closed the half with two unanswered goals. Koehl tied the game at 8-8 with 1:27 left on the clock and Courtney Cole beat the ticker in the final seconds as the Catamounts went into the break with a 9-8 lead.

The Green and Gold continued to pour it on and opened the second half with four unanswered goals. UMass Lowell mounted a comeback and closed the gap to 12-11 with 10 minutes left to play but UVM's defense never surrendered the lead in the final frame.

The Catamounts registered the last four goals of the game for the final margin of victory - two from Koehl and one apiece from Ali Korin and McWright.

The regular season finale marked the final game for six seniors – Kim Arkell, Alex Bernier, Courtney Cole, Elena McWright Becca Olsen, and Bailey Saneman.
