INSIDE THE SERIES
Monday's road trip finale will be the third meeting between the two programs and first since November of 2008. In the 2008 contest, UVM was 0.7 seconds away from an overtime victory but fell 80-79 after Mason's Darryl Monroe knocked down two free throws to win the game at Patrick Gym. One year prior, George Mason used a 16-8 run over the final 7:30 of the contest to defeat Vermont 60-53 in the season opener.
