Vermont (2-2, 0-1 AE) begins a five-meet road stretch this weekend at Maine (0-3) in an America East duel on Saturday (Nov. 3). The meet is set to take place at 11 a.m. in Orono.
SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
Maine enters their first conference matchup with a 0-3 overall record after falling to Rhode Island, Boston College and Northeastern. Black Bear freshman diver Philann Dixon has won the 1-meter diving at all three dual meets so far this season. Maine finished fifth in the team standings at the 2018 America East Championships.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts hold a 14-3 edge on the Black Bears over the past 17 seasons with their losses dating back to 2002-04. Last time Vermont traveled to Maine in the 2016-17 season, UVM won eight events en route to handing their conference rival a 168-123 defeat.
WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts compete in a pair of meets next weekend. Vermont travels to face America East foe Stony Brook on Saturday (Nov. 10) at 10 a.m. before heading to take on Bryant on Sunday (Nov. 11) for an 11 a.m. meet.
