SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday night marks the 43rd all-time meeting between the Catamounts and Northeastern. The Huskies have a 30-8-4 series lead, but Vermont has taken four of the last five contests including two wins at Gutterson Fieldhouse last season. UVM is also 2-2-1 in the last five home meetings with the Huskies. The Catamounts won two of three against Northeastern during the 2018-19 campaign.
Ève-Audrey Picard had six points (5 goals, 1 assist) in the season series, powered by her hat trick on January 27 at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The then-sophomore opened the scoring with shorthanded goal late in the first period and tallied two goals in the third period, which included the game-winner with 11.7 seconds left to defeat the Huskies. Picard was named TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week following her performance.

LAST WEEKEND
The Catamounts traveled to Merrimack for a one-game series Friday (Oct. 26) at Lawler Rink. The Warriors found the back of the net in the first two periods for a two-goal lead heading to the final frame. At 3:17 in the third period, rookie
Theresa Schafzahl lifted a backhand shot over the Merrimack goaltender into the top corner for her first collegiate goal. The Austrian native received a pass from
Maude Poulin-Labelle before cutting the lead in half. The Catamounts exchanged chances with Merrimack throughout the third period, but were unable to get the equalizer despite heavy pressure in the offensive zone. Schafzahl registered a game-high 10 shots on goal and
Melissa Black stopped 24 shots for Vermont.
