UVM improved to 3-0 in conference play after beating Stony Brook 73-62 on Saturday afternoon.
Trae Bell-Haynes notched his second straight 20-point effort. The senior racked up a game-high 20 points and finished the conference matinee with a career-high four triples.
Ernie Duncan and
Payton Henson added 12 points apiece and combined to shoot 5-for-7 from long range.
Nate Rohrer reached double figures for the first time this season with 10 points.
Samuel Dingba had a solid outing with eight points and four rebounds.

SHARING IS CARING
Monday night will feature last week's America East Co-Players of the Week - Duncan and Aaron Calixte. Duncan averaged 17.7 points per game, shot 67.0% (16-for-24) from the floor, drained 60.0% (9-for-15) of his attempts from downtown, and he was a perfect 12-for-12 at the line over three game. Calixte averaged 19.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in two games for Maine.
STREAKY CLEAN
UVM will try to extend numerous winning streaks on Monday. The Cats own the longest regular season conference winning streak in the history of America East at 24 games, an 18-game home winning streak, and an overall six-game winning streak.
SCOUTING MAINE
The Black Bears were picked to finish ninth in the preseason poll and come to Burlington with a 1-3 league record. Prior to Saturday's loss to Albany, the Black Bears has only lost by a combined six points against conference foes. Maine owns the second-best field goal percentage defense during conference play as the Black Bears are holding their league rivals to .401 from the floor. In league play, Calixte ranks second in the conference with a 19.8 scoring average. He has averaged 20.0 points per game over his last four games and the junior shared Co-Player of the Week honors with
Ernie Duncan last week. Isaiah White has posted 9.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in his last three appearances.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Green and Gold have won 11 straight over the Black Bears in an effort to even up the head-to-head record. Maine holds a close 70-67 mark over UVM, but the Black Bears have not won in Catamount Country since Jan. 18, 2011. Last year, the Cats swept the season series and cruised past the eighth-seeded Black Bears 86-41 in the America East Quarterfinals.
