SETTING THE SCENE
The Catamounts step foot on their home field for only the second time after playing five of the first six games on the road. Holy Cross will be visiting the Green Mountain State for only the fourth time in the all-time series. The Catamounts are coming off four tight losses, including Saturday's tough defeat at Northeast Conference preseason favorite Bryant. Vermont senior
Brynne Yarranton has recorded at least a pair of goals in five games this season, including a hat trick at Bryant.

BOLT-ING INTO THE TOP-25
Alison Bolt has handed out nine assists this season – tied for the 24th-most in the country. The senior is two assists shy of cracking into the top-10 nationally and sits third overall in the conference.
POINTS OF EMPHASIS
The Catamounts have four players with at least 10 points – Bolt (18),
Meredith Moore (15), Yarranton (12), and
Jenna Janes (11). Vermont is one of four America East teams with at least four players in double-figure points – Albany, Stony Brook, and UMBC.
LAST TIME OUT
Yarranton's hat trick in Saturday's 12-8 non-conference loss at Bryant was the second of her UVM career. Yarranton netted her three scores on three shots on goal and won a pair of draw controls. Bolt tallied two goals for the Cats with four draw controls, two ground balls, and caused two turnovers.
Molly Little, Janes, and Moore added one goal each to UVM's offensive attack.
Maddy Kuras made three saves in goal for the green and gold.
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
Head coach Amanda Belichick, daughter of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, has her group coming off a thrilling 11-10 overtime victory against New Hampshire last Wednesday. On Feb. 18 against Iona, the Crusaders recorded their second shutout (W, 10-0) victory in program history, which helped goalie Julia Maloney earn Corvias Patriot League Defender of the Week. Maloney ranks ninth in the country with 48 saves. Maddie Ward leads the Crusaders' scoring attack with 12 goals and Tess MacKay has tallied nine goals. Mary Patalita follows with six goals, including four scores in the win over UNH, and has distributed four assists. The Crusaders were also picked to finish seventh in the Patriot League Preseason Coaches' Poll.
SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's meeting in Burlington will be the first game between the two programs in six years. Holy Cross leads the all-time series 7-3 but UVM's 10-9 win in 2011 snapped a seven-game skid against the Crusaders. The last four contests have been decided by two goals or less.
