BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vanessa VanderZalm and
Alison Bolt combined for nine goals to lead the Vermont Catamounts to a 13-2 win over visiting UMass Lowell in America East women's lacrosse action at Virtue Field on Wednesday. UVM picks up its first league win of the season (1-2) and moves to 5-7 overall. UMass Lowell falls to 1-11 on the year and 0-3 in the conference.

Catherine Green split time in the Vermont net. Kuras picked up the win with four stops, while Green added one save. Courtney Barrett was credited with six saves for UMass Lowell.
