THE CATAMOUNTSVermont is coming off a 4-2 victory over Marist on Saturday and stands at 3-3-1 overall.
Brian Wright scored twice to lead UVM to the win. Wright leads the team in scoring with eight points on four goals. The Catamounts are 11-4-1 in games when Wright tallies a goal.

Stefan Lamanna have four points each and 10 different Catamounts have picked up a point this season.
Greg Walton is UVM's top goalkeeper and owns a 1.68 goals against average. Vermont is unbeaten on its home turf with a 2-0-1 mark at Virtue Field this season.
ABOUT UMASS The Minutemen stand at 1-7 on the year and are 1-1 against America East teams heading into Friday's match. UMass dropped a 1-0 decision at UNH and posted a 2-1 victory over Hartford. Ty Goncalves and Alex DeSantis lead the team in scoring with three points each. Bardia Asefnia is the leading goalkeeper for UMass and owns a 2.12 goals against average. The Minutemen have been out scored 12-2 in the first half this season and 18-4 overall. UMass was picked to finish 12th out of 13 teams Atlantic-10 Preseason Poll.
Vermont is 19-9-6 against UMass in the all-time series that dates back to 1964. The two teams are meeting for the eighth time in 10 years. UVM posted a 3-2 victory in Burlington over the Minutemen the last time the two teams met in 2013.
ABOUT BRYANTThe Bulldogs dropped to 1-4-2 on the season with a 3-2 overtime loss at UMass Lowell on Wednesday. Bryant was picked to finish third in the Northeast Conference Preseason Poll. Brett Larocque, an All-NEC selection last season, leads the team in scoring eight points on three goals and two assists. Thomas Binder ranks second on the team in scoring with six points behind a pair of goals and assists. Chris Knaub, a NEC Second Team pick last season, is the team's top goalkeeper and owns a 1.73 goals against average.
Sunday marks the first time the two teams will meet on the pitch in men's soccer.
WHO'S NEXTThe Catamounts open up America East play on October 3, hosting Binghamton at 1 p.m. The October 2-4 weekend is Homecoming Weekend at UVM.
