THE CATAMOUNTSVermont stands at 2-3-1 overall and is 1-0-1 at home. The Catamounts went 1-0-1 in its own Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic presented by Morgan Stanley and the Windjammer last weekend. Vermont opened with a 1-1 draw against UNC Asheville and finished the tourney with a 2-1 victory against Central Connecticut.
Junior
Brian Wright scored in both games, his first two goals of the year, and leads the team in scoring with four points.
ABOUT MARIST The Red Foxes enter Saturday's match with a 2-4 record and are 1-2 against America East opponents this season. Marist lost, 3-1 to New Hampshire, defeated Binghamton, 1-0 and dropped a 2-1 decision in double-overtime at Stony Brook in its last outing on Wednesday. Cameron Harr leads the team in scoring with six points on three goals. Brian Coyt, Connor Preece and Zachary Reed have also scored for the Red Foxes. Mark Rajovic has played every minute in net and owns a 1.79 goals against average.
WHO'S NEXTNext week the Catamounts travel to Amherst, Massachusetts to take on UMass on Friday (Sept. 25) at 4 p.m. UVM will also host Bryant at 3 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 27) at Virtue Field.
