ABOUT VERMONTThe Catamounts sit in fourth place in America East with a 9-6 overall record and 2-2 mark in league play with just two games remaining in the regular season. Vermont has earned conference wins over UMBC (11-10) and Binghamton (18-7), while falling to Albany (11-1) and Stony Brook (12-5).
As a team, UVM is averaging 10.87 scores per game and has tallied double-digit goals in 10 of 15 contests. Senior
Jessica Roach and Junior Vanessa continue to lead the attack with a combined 103 points on 82 goals and 21 assists. VanderZalm also leads the team in draw controls (44), ground balls (36) and caused turnovers (33). Sophomore
Alex Bernier (11 g, 10 ast) has also chipped in on the offensive end, ranking among the top-3 on the squad in both points and assists. Senior goalie

ROACH APPROACHING SINGLE-SEASON RECORDSSenior captain
Jessica Roach needs just five points and eight goals to tie the program record for most in a single season in each category. The Scituate, Massachusetts native has 65 points and a career-high 52 goals to this point in the season. Roach's former teammate,
Sydney Mas, holds both single-season program records after tallying 70 points and 60 goals just a year ago.
SCOUTING UMASS LOWELLThe Riverhawks are still looking for their first win of their inaugural season, sitting at 0-14 overall and 0-4 in America East. They've dropped league matchups against Albany (21-1), Binghamton (15-6), New Hampshire (22-6) and most recently UMBC (19-2). UML's roster is made up of 21 freshmen, one sophomore and two juniors.
UMass Lowell has been held to single-digit goals in every game this season and is averaging just 4.50 goals per contest while allowing 16.21 to its opponents. Jesse Jay, Emily Wright and Taylor Sokol are the top three scorers for the Riverhawks, having combined for 51 points and 39 goals. Sokol is the team's leader in draw controls with 34 on the season. South Burlington native Courtney Barrett has started all 14 games in goal and posted a 16.27 goals against average.
