BURLINGTON, Vt. – Freshman
Drew Urquhart led six Catamounts in double figures posting his first career double-double with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds as Vermont cruised to an 86-41 win over Southern Vermont College in the 2014-15 home opener at Patrick Gymnasium.
Vermont earns its second straight win to move to 2-1 on the season, while Southern Vermont falls to 2-1, suffering its first loss of the year.

Ethan O'Day added 10 points apiece to round out the leading scorers for the Catamounts.
Deshawn Hamlet paced the Mountaineers with 13 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Vermont took control of the contest from the tip and led 25-9 with 7:10 remaining in the first half. The Catamounts extended the lead to 22 on a layup by
Brendan Kilpatrick at the 4:01 mark of the first half and went into the locker room leading 37-19.
The Catamounts cruised in the second half. UVM held Southern Vermont to 25.8 percent shooting in the stanza, while extending its lead to 41 points on a jumper by
Ryan Pierson with 8:21 remaining in the contest.
Vermont finished the game shooting 59.6 percent from the field and out scored the Mountaineers 44-20 in the paint.
The Catamounts travel to Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's on Saturday (Nov. 22) at 7 p.m. at Hagan Arena. The game can be heard on ESPN 101.3 FM (online: 1013ESPN.com) with A.J. Kanell calling the action. The game will also be streamed online via Atlantic10.com.
