BURLINGTON. Vt. – Wyatt Omsberg's blast in the 105th minute lifted the Dartmouth Big Green to a 2-1 double overtime victory over Vermont at Virtue Field on Wednesday as the Catamounts wrapped up non-conference play.
The teams played through a scoreless first half, but in the 52nd minute Matt Danilack scored from inside the penalty box off a deflected loose ball to put Dartmouth up 1-0.

Bernard Yeboah and
Brian Wright combined in the penalty area. Yeboah beat his defender to the endline and sent a short cross to Wright who took one touch and fired the ball into the back of the net for his team-leading sixth goal of the year.
Neither team was able to get the go-ahead goal in the first period of extra time.
In the second overtime period the Big Green won a corner kick. Robin Alnas' service to the back post was headed back to the middle of the penalty box by Jonathan Nierenberg and Omsberg was there with the finishing volley for the game-winner.
Ryan Bailey earned the start in net and made four saves for Vermont. James Hickok was credited with three stops for Dartmouth.
Dartmouth moves to 4-2-1 overall, while Vermont falls to 5-4-1 on the year. The Catamounts will be back in action on Saturday (Oct. 4) when they travel to Albany to open up America East action. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. The game can be seen online via
